Have you been asked to sign a petition for a candidate? Has a candidate asked you to circulate petitions for them? In Pennsylvania, candidates are required to obtain a certain number of signatures of eligible voters to get on the ballot. For example, a candidate running for Court of Common Pleas judge is required to obtain 1,000 signatures.
This is still a super easy way to help out a candidate and their campaign. If there's a candidate you are supporting, reach out to their campaign and ask for a petition. Many campaigns have petitions in pdf form that you can print from home, have the eligible voters in your household or pod sign, and then return it to the campaign in the mail.
